I didn’t discover my passion for health and fitness until my mid-twenties. Because of this late start, I quickly realized that CrossFit is a fantastic program for giving people of all fitness backgrounds the tools they need to improve their quality of life and reach fitness goals. In 2011, I received my CrossFit level 1 certification and started coaching to share her passion for fitness with others. I am also a Las Vegas classroom teacher who quickly discovered that kids do better academically when they arrive to class healthy. So, in 2012, I received my CrossFit Kids certification to help children discover their own love for fitness much earlier than I did. You can find me on Saturdays at 9:30am coaching our youngest athletes or at various times throughout the week working with adults. However, you can find her most often working on her own fitness with our amazing community of like-minded people which is, by far, her favorite part of the gym.
What is your favorite CrossFit movement and/or benchmark WOD?
Thrusters! They are so miserable to do and so worth it!
What is your go-to cheat meal?
This completely depends on my mood…but doesn’t everyone love pizza?
What do you like to do when not in the gym?
I’m a busy mom with three young kids! I love when I get to take the family camping. I love being in the great outdoors!
